| Abstrak THE INFLUENCE OF INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS AND JOB SATISFACTION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE EMPLOYEE AT THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY IN MOROWALI DISTRICT Nurafni Altantu, (C20117541). Undergraduate Thesis. Outside the main Campus Management Department, Economics and Business Faculty, Tadulako University in Morowali District. Supervised by Niluh Putu Evvy Rossanty. ABSTRACT This research aims to find out the simultaneous and partial influence of individual characteristics and job satisfaction on the performance of the employee at the Department of Agriculture and Food Security in Morowali District. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample totaled 66 respondents which were selected through the saturated or census sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the influence of each variable. The results of the research show that (1) Individual Characteristics and Job Satisfaction simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance of the employee, (2) Individual characteristics partially have a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employee, (3) Job satisfaction partially has a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employee.
