Abstrak Stress is a bodily reaction that arises when a person faces a threat, pressure, or a change. Stress can also occur due to situations or thoughts that make a person feel hopeless, nervous, angry, or even excited. The stress experienced by each person has a different level of stress, the level of stress is divided into three, namely mild, moderate, and severe stress. Stress is also often experienced by final students who are working on a thesis. This study aims to find out an overview of the relationship between stress levels and motivation in completing a thesis in final students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tadulako University. The type of research used in this study is a type of quantitative research. The results showed that the average final student at the Faculty of Economics and Business experienced moderate stress with an average score of 3.38, then those who experienced severe stress averaged 3.32, and those who experienced mild stress averaged 3.30. Then the highest motivation of the final student is intrinsic motivation with an average score of 3.79 while extrinsic motivation has an average score of 3.77. The conclusion of the study that there is a significant relationship between stress level and motivation in completing a thesis in final students at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Tadulako University with the strength of the relationship is moderate and the direction of the relationship is positive. |
