| Abstrak This research investigates the potential of marine tourism in Banggai Islands Regency by analyzing tourist visit trends across five destinations during 2021–2024 and assessing business income at Paisu Matano Kautu. The study applied a descriptive approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, with data obtained through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The respondents were local tourism managers. The analysis covered net income (the difference between total revenue and total costs) as well as the identification of potential marine tourism types based on visitor growth and distribution patterns. The study revealed that the tourism business at Paisu Matano Kautu achieves a monthly net income of IDR 9.795.000, indicating promising opportunities for further development and meaningful contributions to the welfare of operators. In addition, visitor trend analysis shows steady growth, with most destinations categorized as experiencing high to very high growth. This demonstrates that the marine tourism sector in Banggai Islands Regency has considerable potential to be expanded as a key driver of regional economic development.
