| Abstrak The current digital era makes many human activities easier, especially in the field of digital transactions, Bank Indonesia itself as the monetary authority has developed the latest QR code-based payment system, which is named QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). This study aims to compare the benefits before (APMK) and after using QRIS so that it is expected to be a future assessment for the people of Palu City and Bank Indonesia in developing a QRIS payment system. This research method uses descriptive research methods. The data used in this study is questionnaire data that was studied in the people of Palu City in 2021 with a total of 61 respondents and related agencies. The research method used is the Differential Test analysis method. The results of the study show that (1) There is a significant difference between perceptions and preferences of the benefits of using QRIS payments compared to APMK by the people of Palu City (2) There is a significant difference between perceptions and preferences of the benefits of the ease of using QRIS payments compared to APMK by the people of Palu City (3) There is a significant difference between perceptions and preferences of health benefits using QRIS payments compared to APMK by the people of Palu City (4) There is a significant difference between the transaction value of QRIS payment users compared to APMK by the people of Palu City (5) There is a significant difference between the transaction volume of QRIS payment users compared to APMK by the people of Palu City. This means that the people of Palu City in this case have been able to adapt to the latest payments and have been able to take advantage of the latest QRIS payment system issued by Bank Indonesia by looking at various aspects such as preferences, perceptions, transaction value, and payment transaction volume.
