| Abstrak Central Sulawesi is one of the provinces in Indonesia which is inseparable from labor problems. The problems faced include an increase in the workforce that is higher than employment. The development of the industrial sector is believed to be a sector that can lead other sectors in an economy towards progress and is expected to increase employment. Efforts to increase employment are certainly inseparable from the factors that influence it such as economic growth and investment. This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth and investment on employment of the industrial sector in Central Sulawesi in 2003-2017, both partially and simultaneously. This research is a type of descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data consisting of: Labor data of large and medium industrial sectors and economic growth data obtained from the Central Sulawesi Provincial Statistics Agency publication, and investment data obtained from the publication of the Investment Coordinating Board for the period 2003-2017 (time series). The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that: 1) Simultaneous economic growth and investment have positive and significant effect on the employment of the industrial sector with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05; 2) Economic growth partially does not significantly influence the employment of industrial sector workers with a coefficient value of 51.530; 3) Investment partially has a positive and significant effect on employment in the industrial sector with a coefficient of 0.0004.
