| Abstrak Nurfadhilla Amalia Ibrahim C101 16 145 “analysis of government funding in the education sector using the benefit incidence analysis approach”. Guided by the lead counselor Mohamad Ichwan and Advisor Syamsuddin HM. This study aims to find out (i) how much the benefits of the education budget received by poor students in North Morowali Regency (ii) how big the benefits of using the budget in North Morowali Regency. This research uses the Benefit Incidence Analysis (BIA) method. Data collection in this method is using a questionnaire and observation. The sample in this study was the parents of students who have children at the elementary-junior high school level. The sample in this study were 120 respondents. The tool used in this study is SPSS. The results showed that the proportion of the benefits of the education budget provided by the government was felt more by middle-income people or the benefits were felt by poor students. Then the benefits of using the education budget are distributed evenly with the curve generated from the Benefit Incidence Analysis (BIA) being progressive.
