| Abstrak Poverty Analysis in the South Banawa Subdistrict of Donggala Regerency”.who was supported by Armin Muis as the main supervisor and Risman as the co-facilitator of the faculty of Economics and Poverty Development Study. Poverty is one of the problems in Indonesia's complex and fundamental economy. More solutions to overcome or reduce poverty. This research was conducted to determine the level of poverty in South Banawa District, Donggala Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative methods. The research location and sample were deliberately chosen, namely in the District of South Banawa, Donggala Regency. The data analysis method used is the Poverty Gap Index (PGI) analysis. The results of this study indicate that from 92 respondents the poverty depth index figure is 0.22. The characteristics of poverty in the southern Banawa sub-district that have the greatest importance to poverty, this can be seen from the number of poor people who are related to their needs, with their work as farmers and increasing those who need it very low.
