Advances in digital technology have driven major changes in political communication, including in regional head election campaign strategies. Social media, especially Instagram, is now an important tool for political figures in building personal branding. This study aims to analyze how Amran Hi Yahya, the Regent of Tolitoli who is running for re-election in the 2024 Pilkada, formed personal branding through his Instagram account during the 2024 Pilkada campaign period. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the basic method of content analysis. Sampling using Purposive Sampling technique, the upload criteria used as samples are Instagram content uploaded by @amran.hi.yahya account during the campaign period, so that 61 uploads are used as research samples. The data collection technique uses documentary techniques based on predetermined categorization. The research sample was collected through a coding sheet. The results of this study show that the @amran.hi.yahya Instagram account during the 2024 regional election campaign period has Criteria for Effective Authentic Personal Branding which consists of eleven indicators: Authenticity, Integrity, Consistency, Specialization, Authority, Distinctiveness, Relevant, Visibility, Persistence, Goodwill. Personal branding dimensions such as visibility, distinctiveness, and integrity appear dominant in the uploads analyzed, where the visibility indicator is 12 uploads or 21.3%, distinctiveness is 10 uploads or 16.4%, and integrity is 7 uploads or 11.5% of 61 uploads during the 2024 election campaign period. This shows that Amran Hi Yahya strategically utilized Instagram as a communication tool to showcase his real work as the Regent of Tolitoli as well as branding himself into a strong character that is displayed consistently, strengthening his image as a moral leader and close to the community. Kemajuan teknologi digital telah mendorong perubahan besar dalam komunikasi politik, termasuk dalam strategi kampanye pemilihan kepala daerah. Media sosial, khususnya Instagram, kini menjadi sarana penting bagi tokoh politik dalam membangun personal branding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana Amran Hi Yahya, Bupati Tolitoli yang kembali mencalonkan diri pada Pilkada 2024, membentuk personal branding melalui akun Instagramnya selama masa kampanye Pilkada 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode dasar analisis isi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, kriteria unggahan yang digunakan sebagai sampel adalah konten instagram yang di unggah akun @amran.hi.yahya pada periode kampanye, sehingga terhadap 61 unggahan dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasidata berdasarkan kategorisasi yang telah ditentukan. Sampel penelitian dikumpulkan melalui lembar koding. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan akun instagram @amran.hi.yahya selama masa kampanye pilkada 2024 terdapat Criteria for Effective Authentic Personal Branding yang terdiri dari sebelas indikator: Keautentikan (Autheticity) Integritas (Integrity), Konsistensi (Consistency), Spesialisasi (Specialization), Otoritas (Authority) , Keistimewaan (Distinctiveness), Relevan (Relevant), Visibilitas (Visibility), Ketekunan (Persistence), Perbuatan baik (Goodwill). Dimensi personal branding seperti visibilitas, keistimewaan, dan integritas muncul dominan dalam unggahan yang dianalisis, dimana indikator visibilitas sebanyak 12 unggahan atau 21,3%, keistimewaan sebanyak 10 unggahan atau 16,4%, dan integritas sebanyak 7 unggahan atau 11,5?ri 61 unggahan selama masa kampanye pilkada 2024. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Amran Hi Yahya memanfaatkan instagram secara strategis sebagai alat komunikasi untuk memperlihatkan hasil kerja nyatanya sebagai Bupati Tolitoli serta membranding dirinya menjadi karakter kuat yang ditampilkan secara konsisten, memperkuat citra sebagai pemimpin bermoral dan dekat dengan masyarakat |
