Abstrak
ABSTRACT IDHAM HIRZAL NO. STAMBUK B 401 16 100, Supervising Lecturer Mr. Asrifai With the Thesis Title "Performance of the Regional Disaster Management Agency in Dealing with Natural Disasters in the City of Palu". This study aims to determine how the Performance of the Regional Disaster Management Agency in Dealing with Natural Disasters in the City of Palu. The theory used in this study is the theory of H. Theodore Poister ie there are variables to measure Performance, namely Output (Output), Efficiency, Productivity, Service Quality, Effectiveness, Cost Effectiveness, and Community Satisfaction. This research uses descriptive research type and Basic Qualitative Research. The selection of 7 (seven) informants, namely the Head of the Palu City Regional Disaster Management Agency, the Secretary of the Palu City Regional Disaster Management Agency, the Head of Personnel and Public Disaster Management Agency of the City of Palu, and the People of Palu City. Data collection techniques in this research are literature study, field studies with observation techniques, interviews and data collection and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of this study indicate that in the implementation of the Regional Disaster Management Agency Performance in Dealing with Natural Disasters in the city of Palu has not been running as it should, as can be seen from several aspects there are still problems and obstacles that are faced in its implementation such as socialization of the community about mitigation has not been routinely carried out, less inadequate means of handling disasters, the time of resolution and access provided in disaster management are still not effective so that it affects the assessment of community satisfaction related to BPBD performance.
