| Abstrak ABSTRACT MOHAMAD ROHMAN, STB B 401 16 066, with the title, "Lurah Leadership Style in Talise Valangguni Village, Palu Timur District, Palu City" Supervised by Moh. Zain Syamsiah. This research was conducted at the Talise Valngguni Kelurahan office, the purpose of this study was to find out how the Lurah leadership style in Talise Valangguni Kelurahan, Palu Timur District, Palu City. The theory used in this study is the theory of leadership style from Pamudji (1992) which divides three aspects of leadership style, namely the motivation style, the power style, and the supervision style. This research uses descriptive research type and basic qualitative research. In this study the researchers used Purposive technique, which is the technique intended to determine informants from people who are considered to know the problem being examined. In conducting the research the researcher took informants from several employees of the Kelurahan office, in this case the Kelurahan Secretary, the Head of the Economy and Development Section, the Admin Staff, the Public Service Staff, and several communities. Data collection techniques are done by means of Field Studies (field research), namely observation, interviews, documentation, and by means of literature study. The results showed that the leadership style of the Talise Valangguni Village Head had run quite well, that the Village Head had tried and tried to carry out his duties and responsibilities as a leader to motivate, his subordinates in carrying out their duties, using the power style as well as possible, and overseeing the performance of their employees in carrying out organizational tasks.
