Abstrak

Tadulako University Postgraduate Public Administration Masters Study Program. This study aims to determine the performance of the Environmental Service in managing waste in hammer city. The theoretical basis used in this research is Dwiyanto's theory, where there are 5 (five) indicators used to measure the performance of the Environmental Service Office of Palu City. The five indicators are Productivity, Responsiveness, Responsibility, Service Quality, and Accountability. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, the number of informants in this study were 6 (six) people. The research technique used is purposive technique, which is a technique that selects or determines informants. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research obtained, the researchers concluded that of the 5 indicators used to measure the performance of the Environmental Service, there were 2 (two) indicators that had not been achieved properly, namely Productivity and Accountability, such as there were still several residential locations that were still far from Garbage Disposal Site and some DLH actors who are still less productive with their time. Apart from these two indicators, there are still 3 (three) other indicators that have been achieved properly, namely the indicators of Responsiveness, Responsibility, and Service Quality, which are seen in the ability of DLH to recognize the needs of its community, and are also seen in every program that runs according to the principles. correct administration.
