Abstrak
ABSTRACT Sitti Hartati. Singgima, Student ID Number: B 101 17 151, Study Program Public Administration, Title, “Policy Implementation of Online Prostitution Prevention in the City of Palu”, Supervised by Muzakir Tawil as Supervisor I, and Mukarramah as Supervisor II. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the online prostitution policy in Palu. This research used the policy implementation model proposed by Thomas B. Smith. This type of study was descriptive which had a qualitative research basis. Informants were determined by purposive sampling with a total of seven people. The data collection techniques used was observation, comprehensive informal interviews, and documentation to collect the required data in the form of primary and secondary data. In the end, the data were analyzed using data condensation and presentation which then conclusions were drawn. The results showed that the implementation of the online prostitution prevention policy in Palu had not run optimally because the attitude of the local government was not so serious in responding to the problem. There are many other forms of interest making this problem is not considered an urgent problem. Most perpetrators of online prostitution practice this activity because of inadequate economic factors, high lifestyles, and inattentiveness from families. Likewise, when viewed from the economic environment that supports this policy, the culture and society are also affected because of the practice of online prostitution.
