Abstrak ABSTRACT Sarina Fungky. No. Stambuk B 101 15 119, Whit Research Title: “Employee Motivation at the Banawa District Office, Donggala Regency”. Supervised by: Slamet Riadi. This study aims to determine the work motivation of employees at the Banawa District office, Donggala Regency. The research method uses a field research research base and the type of research in this writing is a qualitative descriptive research type. While the data collection technique used purposive with 5 (five) informants, namely 1 Head of Banawa District, 1 Secretary of Banawa District, 1 Head of General and Personnel Sub-Division, and 2 Banawa District staff Using the theory Proposed by McClelland with 3 (three) indicators, namely the need for achievement, the need for affiliation, and the need for power. The results of the study indicate that the work motivation of employees at the Banawa District Office, Donggala Regency in terms of these three factors can be categorized as quite good, when viewed from the need for affilation and the need for power has been going well. However, when viewed from the indicators of the need for achievement, it has not been going well and the lack of self-awareness to increase Employee Work Motivation at the Banawa District Office, Donggala Regency so that it can affect the level of Work Motivation and result in less than optimal work.
