The research objectives are to describe students' learning motivation on online and offline learning during the covid-19 pandemic and compare students' learning motivation on online and offline learning during the covid19 pandemic. The research used a comparative method to correlate a variable or more variables in two or more different samples, with 108 students as the subjects. The descriptive analysis results indicated that learning motivation in online learning is 16.7% in the high category, compared to 3.8% in offline learning. Learning motivation in online learning is 81.5% in the moderate category, compared to 87% in offline learning. Learning motivation in online learning is 1.8%, and learning motivation in offline learning is 7.4%. Learning motivation in online learning is 0% is lower than 1.8% in offline learning. The results of the inferential analysis suggest that the learning motivation of offline learning students at SMK Negeri 1 Labuan is greater based on the comparison of categories. The t-table value is 1.66 based on the distribution results. This condition implies that t-count (44.8) > t table (1.66). The null hypothesis (H0) stated students' learning motivation in online learning is very small compared to learning motivation in offline learning is rejected. Based on the research findings, it can be inferred that the learning motivation of SMK Negeri 1 Labuan students on online learning is in a low category and offline learning in a high category.
