The problem in this study is, "Is there a correlation between academic hardiness and students' independent learning?" The purpose of this study is to explain the correlation between the level of academic hardiness and students’ independent learning. The research sample was 200 students. The main instrument for collecting data was questionnaires on academic hardiness and students' independent learning. The collected data were analyzed with the product-moment correlation with a significance level of 95%. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that 29% of students have a high level of academic hardiness, 57% of students have a moderate level of academic hardiness, and 15% of students have a low level of academic hardiness. Meanwhile, 23% of students have a high level of independent learning, 56% of students have a moderate level of independent learning, 21% of students have a low level of independent learning. The results of the inferential analysis showed that rcount (0.755) > rtable (0.138) which means the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It means there is a correlation between academic hardiness and the students' independent learning of SMA Negeri Model Terpadu Madani Keywords: academic hardiness, independent learning |
