Abstrak
ABSTRACT The research objective is to identify the students' self-affirmation in further study decisions-making and to explain differences in scores of students' self-affirmation in future study decisions-making in class IX-A students of SMP IT Qurrota'ayun Palu before and after receiving information services. The researcher collected data from 23 respondent students using questionnaires on future study decision-making. The collected were processed and analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Hypothesis testing was carried out with 95% confidence using statistical techniques, specifically the t-test (one-tailed). The descriptive analysis results show that the categorization of students' self-affirmation before receiving information services is five students (21.74%) are high, 16 students (69,57) are low, and two students (8.70%) are classified as extremely low before receiving information services. After receiving information services, students' self-affirmation rises to one student (4.35%) in the very high category, 12 students (52.17%) in the high category, and 10 students (43.48%) in the low category. According to the data analysis findings, there is a difference in scores before and after receiving information services. The result of the score calculation before receiving information services is 32.65, and the result after receiving information services is 38.26, with a 5.61-point difference between the two score scores. The scores of students' self-affirmation in making future study decisions before and after receiving information services at SMP IT Qurrota'ayun Palu's class IX-A differ significantly.
