ABSTRAK Randi Gustafson (2020). Penerapan Model Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snow Ball Throwing Tipe Snow Ball Throwing untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SDN Marena. Skripsi Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Tadulako. Pembimbing: Rizal. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snow Ball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPS di SDN Marena? Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snow Ball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPS di SDN Marena. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SDN Marena, melibatkan 31 orang siswa terdiri atas 12 orang laki-laki dan 19 orang perempuan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Di mana pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan di kelas dan setiap siklus terdiri empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pada Pra tindakan persentase daya serap klasikal mencapai 46,45?n ketuntasan belajar klasikal 38,71%. Hasil tindakan siklus I menunjukkan persentase daya serap klasikal mencapai 67,10?n ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 74,19%. Hasil tindakan siklus II menunjukkan persentase daya serap klasikal mencapai 82,90?n ketuntasan belajar klasikal 93,55%. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran pada siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal minimal 80?n persentase daya serap klasikal minimal 65%. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snow Ball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas V SDN Marena. The problem in this research is whether the Snow Ball Throwing cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in social science subjects at Marena Elementary School? The purpose of this study is to find out whether the Snow Ball Throwing cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in social science subjects at SDN Marena. This research is a classroom action research conducted at Marena Elementary School, involving 31 students consisting of 12 men and 19 women registered in the 2019/2020 school year. This study uses a Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of two cycles. Where in each cycle there are two meetings in class and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that in the pre-action percentage of classical absorption reached 46.45% and classical learning completeness was 38.71%. The results of the first cycle showed that the percentage of classical absorption reached 67.10% and classical learning completeness reached 74.19%. The results of the second cycle showed that the percentage of classical absorption reached 82.90% and classical learning completeness was 93.55%. This means that learning in cycle II has met the indicators of success with a classical learning completeness of at least 80% and a classical percentage of absorption of at least 65%. Thus, it can be concluded that learning by using the Snow Ball Throwing cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class V Marena SDN.
