| Abstrak ABSTRACT Susanti, 2025. Title: "Game Development to Develop Basic Locomotor Movement Skills in Lower Grade Students at Inti Tondo Public Elementary School." Study Program: Physical Education, Health, and Recreation, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Supervisor: Dr. Hendriana Sri Rejeki, S.Or., M.Pd., AIFO. This research aims to develop a game model that can improve the basic locomotor movement skills of lower grade students at Inti Tondo Public Elementary School. Basic locomotor movements, such as walking, running, jumping, and hopping, are fundamental skills that need to be developed from an early age because they form the foundation for subsequent physical activities. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), referring to the Borg & Gall model, modified into two stages: the preliminary stage and the development stage. The test subjects were students in grades I–III of SDN Inti Tondo. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and documentation, validated by experts, and tested through small- and large-scale trials. The research results produced three game models: (1) the S-M-S (Fun, Enjoyable, and Cool) game, (2) the Ninja Turtles game, and (3) the Cat's Tail game. Based on expert validation, the developed game models were declared suitable for use with a reliability coefficient ranging from 0.812–0.875. These findings indicate that the development of the game models has proven effective in improving basic locomotor skills in lower-grade students.
