Abstrak

Health and Recreation Physical Education Study Program, Department of Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University, Supervisor Gunawan This study aims to find out and describe the gross motor skills of students based on the results of the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) test. The TGMD-2 is a measuring tool used to assess two main aspects of gross motor skills, namely locomotor ability and object control ability. This study uses quantitative research with 30 students in grade IV at SD Inpres 3 Tondo. The results of the study showed that, in general, it was in the "average" category with a percentage of 57% for active students, while for inactive students it was in the "very poor" category with a percentage of 50%, while for locomotor students students were in the "medium" category with a percentage of 36% for active students, then for inactive students had a "low" category with a percentage of 38% for the control object of active students were in the "medium" category with was 36%. Meanwhile, the basic movement of the inactive student control object is in the "medium" category with a percentage of 50%. There are no students who are in the very high category. No child falls into the very high category. These findings indicate that in general, children's gross motor development is in fairly good condition, but there are still some children who need further attention to optimize their movement skills.
