Thesis Physical Education, Health And Recreation Studi Program, FKIP, Tandulako University, Suprvisor: Dr. Andi Saparia., S.Pd., M.Pd., AIFO The purpose of this study is to examine how the village head of Bulu Village, Pasangkayu Regency, has developed sports facilities and increased public interest in sports. In order to promote healthy lifestyles and increase community engagement in physical activities, village-level sports infrastructure construction is a crucial endeavor. This research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology, gathering data via observation, interviews, and documentation. Village chiefs, village administrators, community leaders, and athletes made up the research informants. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drafting were used in the data analysis process. The results showed that the village head's management strategy in developing sports infrastructure was carried out through several steps, namely planning a sports facility development program, allocating the village budget, collaborating with the community, and optimizing the use of existing facilities. In addition, the village head also encourages community participation by organizing joint sports activities, village sports competitions, and promoting the importance of physical activity for health. There were 28 male respondents, or 56.00%, and 22 female respondents, or 44.00%, according to the data analysis results. Keywords: Management strategy, Sports Infrastructure, Public Interest. |
