Abstrak
This study aims to measure the level of gross motor skills of fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School 11 Balaesang, Donggala Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive with a survey approach, involving 14 students as research subjects. Gross motor skills were assessed through five types of tests: 40-meter run, zig- zag run, long jump without a run-up, ball throwing and catching, and one-legged standing. The results show that 43% of students are in the "poor" category, 21% in the "moderate" category, 29% in the "good" category, and 7% in the "very good" category. The average T-score obtained is 246.58, with a median of 238.16, a standard deviation of 32.14, a minimum value of 208.82, and a maximum value of 302.84. These findings indicate that the majority of students still have room for improvement in their gross motor skills. This study suggests the need for greater attention to efforts aimed at enhancing students' motor skills through more varied and interactive learning. By increasing student engagement in physical activities, it is hoped that their gross motor skills can develop well, positively impacting their overall health and well-being.
