| Abstrak Football at SDN Pinotu is very popular. Although in playing football in this school there are several obstacles such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure. However, the interest that students have in football is very high. The game of soccer has been known and often done by students in their home environment, besides that the game of soccer is also considered an easy game to do, students only need to kick the ball to put it into the goal. To improve the quality of football games in schools, basic technical problems are a decisive requirement. Thus, students who do not master the basic techniques and skills of playing soccer are unlikely to get maximum results. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the relationship between student interest in dribbling ability in SDN Pinotu students? The research method used in this study is the correlational descriptive method. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique, namely the overall sampling of 25 SDN Pinotu students. The instruments used are questionnaire techniques and dribbling tests. Obtained rcalculate = 0.135 at significant levels a = 0.05 and n = 25, then dk = n-1 or dk = 25-1 = 24 so that obtained rtable = 0.404, the result is calculated ? rtable or 0.135 ? 0.404 then Ha is rejected meaning that there is no significant relationship between the variables of student interest in dribbling ability. Thus, it can be stated that the hypothesis that the author formulated is "there is no significant relationship between students' interest in dribbling ability in elementary school students.
