Health and Recreation Physical Education Study Program, Department of Education, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Moh. Ifkhal Sianto. The lack of understanding of the level of confidence of extracurricular participants at SMP 4 Bambalamotu certainly makes it difficult for teachers or coaches to design effective sports programs. The purpose of this study is to find out how confident the students/sports extracurricular participants are at SMP 4 Bambalamotu. This type of research is survey research. The instrument used in this study was a confidence questionnaire. The population in this study is the entire extracurricular students at SMP 4 Bambalamotu. The sample amounted to 17 people, with sampling techniques including saturated sampling techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses the percentage technique, and categorizes using the Sturges approach. The results of this study show that 1 student is in the low category, 3 students are in the high category, and there are 13 students in the medium category. The conclusion of this study is that most students participating in extracurricular activities at SMP 4 Bambalamotu have moderate confidence. It is expected that the results of this study can be considered in making better the factors that are lacking in terms of confidence in extracurricular participants at SMP 4 Bambalamotu.
