Abstrak
Improving Children's Social Interaction Through Group Work Method in Group B of Gurung Bale State Kindergarten. Supervisor (1) Andi Agsonlatih Supervisor (11) Amrullah The main problem in this research is whether the group work method can enhance social interaction among children in Group B of Gunung Bale State Kindergarten. The purpose of this study is to improve children's social interaction through the group work method at Gurmang Bale State Kindergarten, Donggala This research was conducted in July 2025 at Guming Bale State Kindergarten, Donggala. The subjects of the study were 15 children in Group B, consisting of boys and 8 girls. The research design used is Classroom Action Research, which consists of (1) Planning, (2) Implementation of Actions, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. This research is divided into three stages: Pre-Action, Cycle 1, and Cycle II, to observe the extent of change in children's social interaction before and after the Classroom Action Research was implemented. To measure improvements in children's social interaction through the group work method, observations were made on aspects of helping each other, cooperation, understanding discussions, and communication. Based on the research results, there was an improvement in children's social interaction after implementing the group work method in the classroom as a teaching method by the teacher for the students in Group B of Gunung Bale State Kindergarten, Donggala. This can be seen from the assessment results of Cycle 1 and Cycle Il from this research activity. In Cycle 1 out of 15 children, 23.33% were categorized as Very Well Developed, 20.00% as Developed as Expected, 21.67% as Starting to Develop, and 35.00% as Not Developed across all observed aspects. In Cycle II, out of 15 children, 45.00% were categorized as Very Well Developed, 33.33% as Developed as Expected, 18.34% as Starting to Develop, and 3.33% as Not Developed across all observed aspects. From the research results above, it can be concluded that the use of the group work method in the learning process in Group B of Gunung Bale State Kindergarten, Donggula, can help improve children's social interaction.
