| Abstrak Fine motor development in early childhood is critical for school readiness, yet remains understimulated in many Indonesian kindergartens due to monotonous, worksheetdominated instructional practices. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the Magical Montage Book, a structured activity book designed to improve fine motor skills in kindergarten-aged children.A Research and Development (R&D) design employing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) was used. The study was conducted with 19 Group B children (aged 5–6 years) at Jaya Kumara Balinggi Kindergarten, Palu, Indonesia. Feasibility was assessed through expert validation by a material and a media validator. Effectiveness was evaluated across nine fine motor indicators using structured observation over four implementation sessions. Material validation yielded 91.6% and media validation 97.3%, producing a combined average of 94.5% (very valid). Following implementation, no child remained in the "not yet developed" category across all nine indicators; the highest gains appeared in perseverance (89.5%) and creativity (84.2%). The Magical Montage Book is a feasible and effective learning medium for early childhood fine motor stimulation. Its multi-material design, integrating natural, recycled, and modern materials, offers a replicable, low-cost alternative to conventional instructional practices in Indonesian PAUD settings. |
