Abstrak ABSTRACT Nurfaiza (2023). Application of Audio Visual Media in the Formation of Children Character in Group B PAUD Adenium Supilopong, Tomini District. Thesis for Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program, Department of Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Advisor (I) Dr. Andi Agusniatih, M.Si, Advisor (II) Sita Awalunisah, S.Pd., M.Pd. The purpose of this research is to find out how the application of audio visual media in the formation of early childhood character. This research was conducted at the Adenium Supilopong PAUD, Tomini District, with 19 children as research subjects. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative in the from of written or oral presentation of the object of research at the institution. Data was collected using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that the application of audio visual media is important for efforts to form the character of children in Group B PAUD Adenium Supilopong, Tomini District. This can be seen after the activity of watching video shows through audio visual media, the formation of children’s character is getting better. Children are more courageous in expressing opinions, able to behave well, and able to communicate well. The application of audio visual media in learning activities as an effort to form children’s character is still rarely applied. However, after the research was carried out, teachers and principals became interested in implementing the use of audio visual media in the learning process after seeing changes in the formation of children’s character. The character of children in group B PAUD Adenium Supilopong varies greatly, after carrying out learning activities by watching video shows through audio visual media, the formation of children’s character becomes better, especially in aspects of courage, aspects of peace-loving, and aspects of communication, there are 10 children with the category of developing according to expectation.
