Abstrak ABSTRACT Vira Septianti, (2020). The Effect of Giving Assignment Method on Children's Fine Motor Skill at Group B TK PKK Kavaya of Sindue Subdistrict Donggala Regency. Early Childhood Teacher Education Study Program, Education Science Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Supervisor (I) Muraeni Mursanib, Co-Supervisior (II) Jane Mariem Monepa. The main problem of this research was children’ fine motor skill which experienced undeveloped as expected. This research aims to determine the effect of giving assignment method on the fine motor skill of children of group B TK PKK Kavaya, Sindue Subdistrictt, Donggala Regency. This research applied qualitative and descriptive method. Subjects of the research were 15 children consisted of 9 males and 6 females. The data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data management was done by using percentage technique. The result of analysis after giving treatment through assignment method shows that in imitating shapes using plasticine, there are 6 children (40%) in category of very good development, 5 children (33.33%) are in category of develop as expected, 2 children (13.33%) are categorized as begin to develop, and 2 children (13.33%) are undeveloped category. Another aspect was cutting by following the pattern, there are 5 children (33.33%) categorized as a very good development, 4 children (26.66%) are in category of develop as expected, 4 children (26.66%) are categorized as begin to develop and 2 children (13.33%) are in undeveloped category. Lastly, in the aspect of sticking pictures correctly, there are 6 children (40%) in very good development category, 5 children (33.33%) in category of develop as expected, and 2 children (13.33%) categorized as begin to develop, and 2 children (13.33%) are in undeveloped category. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving assignment method on the fine motor skill of group B TK PKK Kavaya, Sindue subdistrictt, Donggala Regency.
