| Abstrak Anizar, 2025. Improving Students’ Learning Outcomes in the Indonesian Language Subject through the Discovery Learning Model in Grade IV at SDN 22 Sindue. Thesis Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Departement of Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Supervisior 1 Muhammad Aqil and Supervisior II Surahman. The problem in this study is that students are less active in class and lack of students problem solving skills, so that student learning outcomes have not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by the school, namely 75. This because the learning carried out at SDN 22 Sindue still uses a conventional model, namely a learning model that dominantly applies the culture method. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes using the discovery learning model in Indonesia language subjects at SDN 22 Sindue. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis & Taggart research design. The subjects in this study were class IV students of SDN 22 Sindue, totaling 20 people. In this study, data were obtained through observation sheets of learning outcomes tests, teacher activity observation sheets and student activity observation sheets. The results of data analysis obtained in Cycle I obtained classical completeness learning outcomes of 65% and Cycle II obtained classical completeness of 80%. the results of the teacher activity of Cycle I amound to 63.52.% and the results of teacher activity Cycle II amound to 92,63%. the esults of student activity I 61.11% and the results of student activity Cycle II 83,33%. Based on these results, in can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 22 Sindue. |
