Abstrak
The study aims to describe and analyze the role of effective principal leadership in implementing educational quality management at SDN 5 Tolai, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires involving the principal, teachers, and education staff. The findings revealed that the principal demonstrated effective leadership through planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision, and the establishment of a sustainable quality culture. The principal actively motivated teachers, fostered open communication, involved all school members in decision-making, and encouraged innovative and collaborative learning. The questionnaire results indicated a leadership effectiveness level of 97.5%, categorized as very high, signifying that the principal’s leadership had a significant impact on the success of quality management implementation. This study concludes that visionary, participatory, and inspirational leadership plays a crucial role in developing a sustainable school quality culture, and such an effective leadership model can serve as a reference for improving educational quality in other elementary schools.
