Abstrak
WIDYANINGSI, 2024. The Relationship of Reading Interest to Indonesian Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students of SD Inpres 2 Tondo. Thesis of the Elementary School Teacher Education study program, Department of Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Under the guidance (Surahman) This study aims to investigate the relationship between reading interest and Indonesian learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Inpres 2 Tondo. This type of research uses a quantitative method with a correlation research design. The research was carried out in the classroom of SD Inpres 2 Tondo. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires to measure students' interest in reading Data analysis techniques used are statistics, descriptive, normality tests, moment product correlation and coefficient of determination (KD). The results of the moment product correlation calculation show that the calculation of > 0.541 > 0.444, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of this study show that there is a significant relationship between reading interest and Indonesian learning outcomes in grade V of SD Inpres 2 Tondo. The results of the study showed that the reading interest of grade V students was in very high criteria with a percentage of 55%, in the high criteria 30%, in the medium criteria with a percentage of 15% and the Indonesian learning results of students were in the very good criteria of 85%, and in the good criteria with a percentage of 15%. The relationship between reading interest and Indonesian learning outcomes of Class V students of SD Inpres 2 Tondo has a moderate relationship level and if it is a percentage of 29%.
