Abstrak Yenni Yesther Oktavia (2021). Improving Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Subject through Role-Playing Method at Class IV of SDN Watumaeata North Lore. Undergraduate thesis of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Education Science Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Supervised by Rizal. This research was a classroom action research conducted at SDN Watumaeata North Lore, involving 12 students consisting of 6 boys and 6 girls enrolled in the 2020/2021 school year. This research used a research design model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart, which consists of two cycles. There are two meetings in class, and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results show that 50% classical completeness and 56.66% classical absorption were obtained in the pre-action. The first cycle of action obtained classical completeness 66.66% and classical absorption 65.97%, while in the second cycle obtained classical completeness 100% and classical absorption of 84.02%. This means that the learning in cycle II has met the indicators of success with a classical absorption value of at least 70% and classical learning completeness of at least 80%. Based on the average value of classical absorption and classical learning completeness in cycle II learning activities, it can be concluded that learning by using the role-playing method can improve the learning outcomes of students in social studies learning at class IV of SDN Watumaeata North Lore. |
