Abstrak The problem in this study is the low learning ability of grade five students at SDN Toe Jaya in the subject of Cultural Arts and Crafts (SBdP). Therefore, the researcher chose the Role Playing Method as a learning strategy to improve student's learning ability. This research was conducted at SDN Toe Jaya that involved 13 students consisting of 6 male students and 7 female students. The researcher used Kemmis and Mc. Taggart research design consists of two cycles, each carried out twice during a class meeting, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. According to the research findings data obtained in the initial test, classical completeness is obtained by 3 students (23%) and 10 students (77%) are not complete. For the final test after cycle I, classical completeness is obtained by 6 students (46%), and 7 students are not complete (54%). For the final test of cycle II, classical completeness is obtained by 11 students (84%), and 2 students (16) are not complete. As a result, the learning outcomes of students on Cultural Arts and Crafts (SBdP) subjects on Dance Art material using the Role Playing method in class V SDN Toe Jaya are successful and have increased.
