Abstrak This study aims to analyze the unit cost of Elementary School education in Labuan subdistrict, Donggala Regency. This study was conducted in two schools namely SDN 12 Labuan and SD DDI Labuan in 2019/2020, the subject of study was a principal and Students. This study applied mixed method research which combines qualitative and quantitative research, using an exploratory sequential design in the first qualitative stage, namely observation, interviews, documentation and the second stage was through a questionnaire. The results showed that: 1) The costs incurred by SD DDI Labuan in 2019 are Rp. 49,658,600 and it is Rp. 48,000,000 in 2020. Moreover, SDN 12 Labuan spends Rp. 48,663,100 in 2019 and Rp. 33,144,500 in 2020. 2) the difference in the number of unit costs per student are in the number of unit costs per year in 2019 is Rp.800,000 and Rp.900,000 is in 2020. Furthermore, there is a difference in the amount of the unit cost of education per school because it is based on the number of students. Based on socio-economic status, there are the differences in costs regarding the students' personal costs. 3) The result of analysis indicates that the cost of education is closely related to the quality of education and based on the results of the study at SD DDI Labuan and SDN 12 Labuan, it cannot be said that it is qualified because the quality of schools is inadequate in fulfilling the requirements of quality education. The recommendations for the two schools regarding additional costs to meet school facilities and infrastructure in order to achieve quality education. The government re-assigned regional BOS funds for school development, especially schools in Labuan subdistrict, namely SD DDI Labaun and SDN 12 Labuan from the APBD budget.
