| Abstrak This research aims to analyze the unit cost of elementary school education in Rio Pakava subdistrict, Donggala regency. This research was conducted in two schools, namely SDN 7 Rio Pakava and SDN 15 Rio Pakava in 2019 and 2020. The research subjects were the Principal, Treasurer, Students and Parents. This research applied descriptive qualitative research method using data collection technique in form of observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that: 1) The school fees at SDN 7 Rio Pakava in 2019 are Rp. 196,435,848, Rp. 187.200.000 is in 2020 and the cost is Rp. 147.200.000 in SDN 15 Rio Pakava in 2019, it is Rp. 146,340,000 in 2020. 2) From the two schools, there is no difference in the unit cost of student education, there is only a difference in the number of units of education cost per year, it is Rp. 800,000 in 2019 and it is Rp. 900,000 in 2020 per students, there is a difference in the amount of the unit cost of education per school because it is based on the number of students. Based on the socio-economic status and location of students, there are differences in student personal costs. 3) The relationship among the amount of education costs and the quality of education, the education process cannot run optimally without adequate financial support. Both schools have qualified because of the high budgeting for educational costs, it can be seen from the number of students in each school, the high average student report cards, high school accreditation, and the fulfillment of infrastructure which supports the learning process. Thus, the recommendations for the two schools regarding additional costs to help ease the burden of parents' financing, especially on transportation costs, the researcher proposes to the local government to facilitate school BUS in Rio Pakava subdistrict.
