ABSTRACT Hasnawati (2022). Analysis of the Teacher's Role on the Learning Outcomes of Class IV Students at SDN 20 Palu. Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Department of Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University, Supervisor: Rizal. This study aims to determine and describe how the teacher's role in the fourth grade student learning outcomes at SDN 20 Palu and to find out what are the factors that influence the fourth grade student learning outcomes at SDN 20 Palu. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were fourth grade teachers and students at SDN 20 Palu and the sample in this study were fourth grade teachers at SDN 20 Palu. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that teachers have a role in the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 20 Palu. This is evidenced from the results of observations and teacher interviews. Efforts made by teachers in improving student learning outcomes are by making preparations before teaching such as preparing the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), using various methods and interesting media, providing assistance to students and making competition/competition in the classroom, as well as providing motivation to arouse student interest in learning that affects student learning outcomes. From observations made by researchers, teachers carry out teaching and learning activities in accordance with the proper learning implementation plan. The factors that influence student learning outcomes include environmental factors, fatigue factors, and student interest factors. Keywords: Teacher's Role and Learning Outcomes
