Abstrak
ABSTRACT Fandi Ahmad, 2016. Role of Teacher Competence in Raising Interest in Learning Students at SDN 22 Sindue, Skripsi Program Elementary School, Department of Education, the Faculty of Education, University Tadulako Supervisor Rizal. This study aims to mengetahaui role of professional competence of teachers in raising student interest, as well as to identify factors inhibiting supporting the professional competence of teachers in raising student interest. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. The population of this research is class IIIA, IIIB, IV, V, VIA, VIB and classroom teachers SDN 22 Sindue. The samples were done Proportional Random Sampling The sample is researched that 13% of the total population consisting of 30 of students and 6 teachers. Data collection techniques in this study, observation, Interview, documentation, and questionnaire. The professional competence of teachers SDN 22 Sindue own good and the learning process has been conducted properly and smoothly, the objec effect on student interest. Then the data obtained from the student questionnaire were analyzed with descriptive data analysis techniques using the tables a percentage, of the data processing questionnaires about the students interest in learning can be described that 33'34% of students expressed very well, 51% of students declared good, the conclusions of the study this that role of professional competence of teachers is indispensable in providing the motivation to learn which raised the interest of student learning. Competence of teachers in the implementation of learning has been supported by several other factors situation of students, school facilities and infrastructure.
