Supervisor Rizal, The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes in Civics subjects. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of Civics Class V SDN 22 Palu through the Problem Solving learning method. This research is a classroom action research, which was conducted in class V of SDN 22 Palu. The research subjects involved 25 students enrolled in the 2020/2021 school year. This study used the research design of Kemmis and Me. Taggart which consists of two cycles. In each cycle, there is 1 meeting. The results of the research showed the results of the pre-action test with the percentage of classical learning completeness reaching 40% and classical absorption 57.3% with the average score reaching 59.6%. Cycle I with the percentage of classical completeness 56% and classical absorption 61.9%, increased in cycle II with the percentage of classical completeness of 84% and classical absorption of 81.1%. The teacher's activity in the first cycle was 72.5% with good criteria, in the second cycle there was an increase of up to 85% with very good criteria. While the student activity in the first cycle was 66.6% with good criteria, in the second cycle there was an increase to reach 88.8% with very good criteria. It was concluded that the learning method. Problem solving can improve Civics learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN 22 Palu.
