Supervisor: Rizal. The problem in this research is how is the teacher’s role in inculcating social attitudes through social studies learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Tambun Toli Toli? Research objectives This study aims to describe the role of teachers in inculcating social attitudes through social studies learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Tambun Toli-Toli. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Based on the results of the research, the cultivation of social attitudes towards fifth grade students is quite good. Thus, it can be concluded that the cultivation of a social attitude of tolerance in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Tambun Toli Toli has been embedded in the 80% Good category. Referring to the results of the researchers’ observations of fifth grade students and the results of the questionnaires filled out by students.
