ABSTRACT Dermawansyah, 2023. The Relationship between Teachers' Professional Competence and the Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students at Pebondo State Elementary School. Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Department of Education, Faculty of Education and Science, Tadulako University. Advisor Muhammad Aqil, S.Pd., M.Pd. The main problem of the research is the low level of mastery of teachers' professional competence. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive relationship between teachers' professional competence and the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Pebondo State Elementary School. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. The research subjects used in this study were 25 students consisting of 9 male students and 16 female students. The instrument used in this research process was a questionnaire to obtain data on teachers' professional competence. Data analysis of the study using percentage techniques while to test the hypothesis used product moment correlation technique at a significance level of 5% with a confidence level of 95%. Based on the results of the processing, 11 students or 44% stated that the teacher's professional competence was very high, 13 students or 52% stated that the teacher's professional competence was high and 1 student or 4% stated that the teacher's professional competence was sufficient. While for student learning outcomes on the average value of students' daily tests, there were 16 students or 64% whose learning outcomes were in very good criteria and 9 students or 36% whose learning outcomes were in good criteria. Hypothesis testing showed that r count> r table or 1.028> 0.396. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between teacher professional competence and student learning outcomes in grade V at Pebondo Elementary School.
