Abstrak I Gusti Ayu Dewi Meisintia, 2021. ”The teacher’s role in promoting students learning on socil science subjects in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic”. Scripsi, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Education Science Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University, Mentor : Arif Firmansyah. Learning will be successful when a teacher uses the right media, methods and learning models when teaching, and the teacher fully understands his role as an educator. One of the teacher’s roles is to determine the role of teachers in motivating students at SDN Kawatuna to grade V students totaling 28 students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques use include interviews, questinnaires and documentation. The results of data analysis regarding the relationship between the role of teachers and student motivation, where r count is greater than r table at a significant level of 5%, namely r count= 0,9418 compared to r table= 0,374. Thus the results of data analysis obtained that there is a relationship between the role of teachers and student motivation at SD Kawatuna.
