ABSTRACT Sabriyanto. Improving Student Learning Outcomes in Social Sciencelearning Through Inquiry Method in Class IV SDN I Mansalean. Undergraduate Thesis, Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University, Supervisor Rizal. The problem in this study is about the low learning outcomes of class IV students in Social Science studies subjects. In connection with this problem, research was conducted which aimed to improve student learning outcomes in class IV SDN I Mansalean. The subjects in this study were 16 students, consisting of 10 boys and 6 girls. This study used the Kemmis and Mc Taggart research design, which consisted of two cycles. In each cycle, two meetings were held. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the formative results in cycle I obtained 75% classical completeness and 75% classical absorption and increased in cycle II, namely 93.75% classical completeness and 92.5% classical absorption. So it can be concluded that the use of inquiry methods can improve student learning outcomes in Social Science studies lessons in class IV SDN 1 Mansalean.
