| Abstrak Yuyun 2020. Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar IPA Melalui Metode Gallery Walk pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Kapopo. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Tadulako, Pembimbing Abdul Rahman S.Pd., M.Pd. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Kapopo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metode Gallery Walk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kapopo. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 13 orang laki-laki dan 5 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada penelitian Suharsimi Arikunto (2006) yang terdiri atas dua siklus dan empat tahap, yaitu (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) Observasi, dan (4) Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru dan lembar observasi motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Peningkatan tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada siklus I pertemuan pertama yaitu dengan skor perolehan 61% termasuk kriteria cukup, pada siklus I pertemuan kedua dengan skor perolehan 71,55% termasuk kriteria baik, dan pada siklus II dengan skor perolehan 83,05% termasuk kriteria sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil observasi aktivitas guru siklus I pertemuan pertama dengan skor perolehan 75% termasuk kriteria baik, pada siklus I pertemuan kedua dengan skor perolehan 80,5% termasuk kriteria baik, dan siklus II dengan skor perolehan 90,2% termasuk kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode Gallery Walk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kapopo. The implementation of this research was motivated by the low learning motivation of grade IV students at SDN Kapopo. This research aims at proving the use of Gallery Walk method can increase motivation to learn natural sciences in grade IV of SDN Kapopo. The subjects of this research were 18 students consisting of 13 boys and 5 girls. This research was a classroom action research which refers to the research of Suharsimi Arikunto (2006) which consists of two cycles and four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The data collection techniques used observation sheets of teacher and students learning motivation. The results show an increase in student motivation from Cycle I to Cycle II. This increase is evidenced by the results of the research obtained in Cycle I of the first meeting, namely the acquisition score of 61% including sufficient criteria, in Cycle I of the second meeting with an acquisition score of 71.55% including good criteria, and in Cycle II with an acquisition score of 83.05% including very good criteria. Meanwhile, the results of observations of teacher activity in Cycle I of the first meeting with a acquisition score of 75% including good criteria, in Cycle I of the second meeting with a score of 80.5% including good criteria, and Cycle II with an acquisition score of 90.2% including very good criteria. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that using the Gallery Walk method can increase the motivation to learn natural sciences in grade IV of SDN Kapopo.
