ABSTRACT Nurhaliza (2020). The Application of Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to Improve Learning Outcomes in Multiplication and Division of the Grade V Students at SDN 1 Binangga. Skripsi. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. Education Science Department, Teacher and Training Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Akina This research aims to improve learning outcomes in mathematics for multiplication and division of the grade V students at SDN 1 Binangga. It was a Classroom Action Research employed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart design that is done in two cycles. The research subjects were 20 students of the grade V at SDN 1 Binangga consisted of 9 boys and 11 girls. The data was collected through observation and tests. The results indicated that the results of the observation for teachers 'and students' activities in the first cycle are 'good' and improves to be 'very good' in the second cycle. The mean score of students in the first cycle is 50% with learning completeness mastery is 66.76%. In the second cycle, the mean score improves to 80% with learning completeness mastery is 83.5%. Based on the results of the first cycle and second cycle, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning outcomes in multiplication and division of the grade V students at SDN 1 Binangga.
