Abstrak
Marsela Bimba (2021). Development of Online Civics Learning Materials in Grade 4 of SDN 20 Palu. A skripsi of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Supervised by Rizal. This research is motivated by the existence of a learning system and students' printed books designed too complicated, short, and lack affirmation in describing the learning material. This research's problems are how the characteristics of the process and product development of online civics learning materials in Grade IV of SDN 20 Palu. Whether online civics learning materials are feasible to use, and how do students respond to online civics learning material?. It was development research which refers to the development research process of Borg and Gall proposed by Sugiyono. This research was carried out in seven stages, including 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) product validation, 5) product revision, 6) product trial, 7) product revision. Data were collected through questionnaires for validation and testing of learning materials. Validation of the learning material was carried out by 4 validators consisting of 2 material experts and 2 linguists, while for the material trial, students and teachers were given questionnaires. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. After going through the validation test of material experts and linguists in stage II, the final result obtains an average score of 88% of the material experts and 83.63% of linguists. The validators' assessment state very decent to be used, as evidenced by students' and teachers' response in a small-scale test conducted on 12 students who obtained an average score of 73.88%, field tests conducted on 29 students obtained an average score of 79.59%. The teacher response obtained an average score of 80.52%.
