Abstrak

Thesis, S1 Geography Education Study Program, Department of Social Science Education, Tadulako University. Nurvita's supervisor. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This study aims to obtain an overview of the preparation, implementation and reporting of authentic assessments in geography in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This type of qualitative descriptive research uses survey methods in collecting primary data. Data collection techniques were carried out with 3 methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The subject of this study was a geography teacher in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 4 Palu. The results of this study indicate 3 conclusions. The first is the preparation of authentic assessment in the 2013 curriculum which is carried out by teachers in geography learning which is assessed from the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills starting from making assessment indicators, making assessment standards, preparing an assessment format, preparing an assessment system that is already in the RPP. Second, the implementation of authentic assessments in the 2013 curriculum on geography learning is assessed in the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills. In the realm of knowledge the teacher uses written test techniques, oral tests and assignments that have been prepared in the lesson plan. The implementation of skills assessment in geography learning uses performance and portfolio appraisal techniques. Third, reporting authentic assessments in the 2013 curriculum on geography learning in the form of values in accordance with the agreed KKM. After the teacher gets the results of the assessment, the teacher records it in the grade book, then the assessment report given by the educator to students with the output so that it can be used as a reference for improvement in subsequent learning Keywords; authentic assessment, 2013 curriculum, geography learning
