Abstrak
ABSTRACT Rusmiati. 2024. Teachers' Efforts to Increase Student Motivation in Social Studies Learning by Using Audio Visual Media in Class V of SDN Dampala, Bahodopi Sub-District. Thesis, Social Science Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Tadulako University. (Supervised by Dhevy Puswiartika and Mahfud Mahmud Gamar) This study aims to (1) Describe the teacher's efforts in increasing student motivation in learning Social Science by using audio visual media in Class V SDN Dampala Bahodopi Sub-District (2) Describe the use of audio visual media in learning social Sciencein Class V SDN Dampala Bahodopi Sub-District (3) Analyze the increase in student motivation in learning social studies by using audio visual media in Class V SDN Dampala. This research uses qualitative descriptions based on observation sheets, documentation and interviews with teacher informants, principals and students in class V SDN Dampala Bahadopi Sub-District. Based on the results of the study showed that the teacher's efforts in increasing student motivation can be seen from the better response of students to the learning process, collaboration between students and also between students and teachers, as well as the creation of a supportive learning environment is an important factor in increasing student motivation, the use of learning media can be seen from the positive impact on student motivation during the learning process and increased student motivation in Social Sciennce learning shows that the integration of audio-visual media effectively in learning can increase student attention to social studies learning materials.
