Abstrak Anjeli Ayu Ranteallo. 2024. “Fulfilment of The Rights Child Prisoners in Obtaining The Right to Education in A Special Children'S Development Institution (LPKA) Class II Palu ”. Supervisor: Hasdin This study aims to determine the process of fulfilling the rights of child prisoners in obtaining the right to education at the Class II Palu Special Development Institute for Children, to find out the strategies and policies carried out for the education of children of inmates of the Class II Palu Special Development Institute for Children, and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in fulfilling the rights of child prisoners to obtain education at the Class II Palu Special Development Institute for Children. The research conducted used qualitative research methods with descriptive research types. The location of this research was at the Special Development Institute for Children Class II Palu. The subjects of this study were 7 people consisting of the Head of the Development Subsection, 2 staff of the Education and Guidance Counselling Subsection, and 4 Correctional Students. The results showed that the process of implementing children's education is carried out with formal and non-formal education between levels of education through pursuing packages A, B and C. The strategies and policies carried out in fulfilling the right to education for foster children are closely related to the guidance given to children in LPKA, namely mental coaching, social coaching and skills coaching. Supporting factors in fulfilling the rights of child prisoners to obtain education at LPKA Class II Palu are the LPKA officials and institutions that facilitate fostered children so that the fulfillment of education in LPKA Class II can run well. The inhibiting factor is limited facilities and facilities, namely the computer lab so that children find it difficult to access the internet.
