This research aims to improve student learning activities using project-based learning models on Pancasila and Civic Education subject at grade X in the social major of SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Utara. This is a Classroom Action Research model based on Kemmis and Mc Taggart consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The topic of discussion was National Integration in a Unity in Diversity Frame involving 25 students of grade X in the major social major of SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Utara. The techniques of data collection were observations and interviews. The results showed an increase in learning activities from cycle I and cycle II to the activities of the Pancasila and Civic Education teachers in motivating and monitoring student learning activities when completing their project assignments. Based on the observation sheet, the percentage of teacher's teaching activities in cycle I was 61.11%, increasing to 94.44% in cycle II. Student activities have increased after the implementation of a project-based learning model. Some indicators observed in student activities are expressing ideas and opinions, raising questions, and responding to questions. The percentage of student activity in the cycle I was 43% increased to 70.75% in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model can improve learning activities.
