ABSTRACT Nurdiana Manja. 2020. Study of the Implementation of Students’ Mutual Respect Behavior in Learning Pancasila and Civic Education at Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 01 Sarudu, Sarudu Sub-district, Pasangkayu Regency. Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program, Social Science Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University Under the supervision of Jamaluddin. The purpose of this study was to investigate the implementation of students’ mutual respect behavior in learning Pancasila and Civic Education at the grade VIII of SMP Negeri 01 Sarudu and to find out how the teacher of Civic Education in learning Pancasila and Civic Education at the grade VIII of SMP Negeri 01 Sarudu. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects were three people consisted of one school principal, two teachers of Civic Education. Techniqes of data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data was analysed in three stages; they were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results indicated that the Study of the implementation of students’ mutual respect behavior in learning PPKn at the grade VIII of SMP Negeri 01 Sarudu, Sarudu Sub-district, Pasangkayu Regency. The implementation of students’ mutual respect behavior can be categorized as good as it can be seen from the indicators of greetings when coming in the classroom, speaking politely, paying attention during conversation, listening well to the teachers during the class, respecting the teacher by doing homework. Although students still violate some school regulations. Keywords: civics teachers, mutual respect behavior
