Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program, Social Science Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University Under the supervision of Hasdin. This research aims to 1) find out the factors that influence the educational level of remote communities in Taipa Village. 2) describe the efforts made by the government to improve community education in Taipa Village. 3) explain the efforts made by the government to increase awareness of remote communities in Taipa Village, Pamona Barat District, Poso Regency on education. It is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this research were 18 people consisting of 1 village head, 17 heads of families using the purposive sampling technique. The techniques of data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed through three stages; they were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed (1). The factors that influence the educational level of remote communities in Taipa Village are economic status and environmental factors. (2) The government's efforts to improve education in Taipa Village include providing BOS (School Operational Assistance) funds, improving facilities or infrastructure, providing KIP scholarships (Smart Indonesia Cards) and providing socialization about education. (3). Efforts made to increase awareness of public education in Taipa Village are working with youth organizations. Keywords: education level, remote community |
